The Book of Acts has an interesting passage where God punishes two members, Ananias & Sapphira, of the early Christian Church for holding back some of a promised gift to the Apostles. However, as with any section of the Bible when you see the scripture in the greater context of the New Testament greater insight reveals itself! Scripture: Acts 5:1-11
