Hurstbourne Christian Church actively collaborates with three nonprofit organizations in the Louisville area, channeling our efforts toward making a meaningful impact and empowering these groups. Our commitment goes beyond financial support; we strive to be the tangible agents of change in God's service.

Our current outreach partners include:

Eastern Area Community Ministries: During the month of September, we stock their food pantry, and every year, we eagerly join their Christmas drive to support families in the eastern part of Louisville. Through our involvement, we help provide Christmas gifts to over 100 families, ensuring a brighter holiday season for those in need.

La Casita Center: We have recently forged a partnership with La Casita Center, an organization dedicated to serving the Spanish-speaking community in Louisville, Kentucky. Our collaboration includes a forthcoming resource day where a substantial group of our church members will visit their facility to assist with sorting clothes and serving lunch to over 200 families. We are enthusiastic about the opportunities this partnership holds.

Lowe/Bowen Elementary School: At Lowe/Bowen Elementary School, we extend our support to students who rely on free or reduced lunch programs by providing essential supplies for their academic success. This commitment involves furnishing school supplies at the beginning of each year and eagerly preparing for the holiday season, when we'll be gifting Christmas presents to students in December.
